• BotuSemen: Extender based on skimmed milk Extender based on skimmed milk to transport cooled semen or preservation at 5ºC or 15ºC, as well as for centrifugation pre-freezing. Use dilutions of 30 to 50 million/ml for cooled transport, respecting the minimum of 2 parts of extender to 1 part of semen. In case of samples requiring centrifugation before cooled transport, resuspend the sperm also between 30 to 50 million/ml. Suitable for most stallions, best cost/benefit ratio.
• BotuSemen Special: Extender based on skimmed milk with the addition of cholesterol. Extender based on skimmed milk with addition of Cholesterol. Cholesterol is a component of the spermatic membrane that contributes for an increase in its stability. It makes BotuSemen Special highly recommended for pre-freezing centrifugation.
  The temperature of 5ºC or 15ºC can be used for semen cooled transport as well as for pre-freezing centrifugation. Use dilutions of 30 to 50 million/ml for cooled transport, respecting the minimum of 2 parts of extender to 1 part of semen.
  In case of samples requiring centrifugation before cooled transport should be respected the resuspension of spermatozoa to 100 million/ml. Aiming DO NOT exceed the appropriate concentrations of cholesterol.
  Suitable for all Stallion, especially for spermatozoa that presents sensitivity to cooled transport.
• BotuSemen GOLD: Extender with casein and cholesterol. Extender based on caseins with addition of cholesterol.
  Milk casein phosphoproteins protects sperm cells from the action of seminal plasma proteins (HSP-1, HSP-2) and Ca++ ions, prolonging spermatic longevity favoring semen transport.
  The temperature of 5ºC or 15ºC can be used for semen cooled transport as well as for pre-freezing centrifugation.
  Use dilutions of 50 million/ml for cooled transport, respecting the minimum of 2 parts of extender to 1 part of semen.
  In case of samples requiring centrifugation before cooled transport should be respected the resuspension of spermatozoa to 100 million/ml. Aiming DO NOT exceed the appropriate concentrations of cholesterol.
  Paper reports that seminal samples diluted in casein present a higher rate of binding to the oocyte. Suitable for all Stallions, especially for those with suspected premature sperm capacitation. BotuSemen Gold presented liquid translucent which facilitates visualization for Cushion centrifugation.
• BotuTurbo: Extender based on skimmed milk with addition of Pentoxifylline Extender based on skimmed milk with addition of Pentoxifylline which inhibits phosphodiesterase by increasing of APMc responsible for the control of ATP production.
  Ideal for fresh insemination or cooled semen transport at 5ºC only. Use dilutions of 30 to 50 million/ml for cooled transport, respecting the minimum of 2 parts of extender to 1 part of semen.
  In case of samples requiring centrifugation before cooled transport, resuspend the sperm also between 30 to 50 million/ml. Suitable for Stallions with low spermatic vigor and Reinforcement Breeding.

• BotuSemen: Extender based on skimmed milk BotuSemen is an extender used to dilute the ejaculate during the centrifugation process for freezing. It has been developed after years of research. Its current formulation enables the sperm safe transportation until the moment of insemination.
  Composition:
  Skimmed milk powder UHT sterilized, sugars, amino acids, antioxidants, and excipients.
  How to prepare:
  Add all the content of this packet in 100 mL of sterile water and shake very well.
  How to use:
  For transport of cooled semen dilute to concentration of 30 to 50 million sperm per mL.
  Extend 1:1 (V/V) wait 15 minutes for insemination with no cooled semen.
  Storage and Stability:
  After mixing, store it at 2-8ºC for up to 3 days.
• BotuSemen Special:Extender based on skimmed milk with the addition of cholesterol.BotuSemen Special is an extender especially developed for stallions with semen sensitive to cooling process. Its composition is based on the addition of essential lipids to maintain the plasma membrane stability of the sperm during the cooling process.
  Composition:
  Skimmed milk powder UHT sterilized, sugars, amino acids, antioxidants, cholesterol and excipients.
  How to Prepare:
  Add all the content of this packet in 100 mL of sterile water and shake very well.
  How to use:
  It is important to respect the dilutions from the table below. After dilution wait 15 minutes before use. In cases that centrifugation before cooling is necessary, resuspend with at least 100x10E6 sptz/mL.

  Extend 1:1 (V/V) wait 15 minutes for insemination with no cooled semen.
  High recommended for reinforcement breeding (Thoroughbred).
